Beretta 500th Anniversary 2026: 694 and A400, What to Know
Short answer
Beretta marks 500 years in 2026. The best-documented anniversary shotgun is the A400 500 Years Special Edition (12 gauge). Beretta also names the 694 in its anniversary collection, but we found no spec sheet for it. We do not carry the anniversary editions. At texasgunshops.com we list regular Beretta 694 and A400 shotguns.
Why 500 years, and why 1526
One article says 1526 is the earliest precisely datable evidence of the Beretta family's gun trade: a receipt dated 3 October 1526 for 185 arquebus barrels sent to the Venetian Arsenal. It calls this the earliest datable evidence, not a formal founding date. Beretta has said it will launch 10 one-off pieces and 7 limited and special editions during 2026.
