A Winchester 94AE Trapper saddle ring carbine in .44 Rem. Mag., serial 5584115, made in 1990. The barrel is a 16-inch round tube with a blade front sight and a semi-buckhorn rear, and the gun keeps its saddle ring and a hammer extension. The metal is blued, the furniture is walnut with the original butt plate, the bore is excellent and overall condition is very good.

A 16-inch .44 Magnum lever gun is a brush carbine, short enough for a truck or a tight East Texas blind where shots are close. Texas allows any legal firearm except rimfire for deer, so it is a legal choice for the North Zone general season from November 7, 2026 to January 3, 2027, with a bag of four deer and no more than two bucks. The hammer extension helps if you mount a scope; otherwise the buckhorn sights are ready to go.
