A Winchester Model 100 semi-automatic rifle in .308 Winchester, serial 71117, made in 1963. It has a 22-inch round barrel with a ramped front sight and flip-up rear, and comes with a Redfield 2-7 scope and the original detachable magazine. Metal is blued and the stock is checkered walnut with a red rubber pad. The stock finish is mostly worn away with some discoloration but no cracks; sling studs and grip cap show heavier oxidation, and the barrel and action have spotted corrosion with much of the blue still present. The action is smooth and the bore is good with strong rifling.

This is a working rifle, not a collector's piece. The .308 is a proven Texas deer cartridge, centerfire as the rules require, and a scoped Model 100 suits a stand or blind during the North Zone general season from November 7, 2026 to January 3, 2027, with a four-deer bag and no more than two bucks. The 2-7 Redfield covers brush and open pasture alike.
