Here is a sealed Winchester box of twenty .30 Army cartridges, the round most shooters know as the .30-40 Krag. The bullets are full metal jacket, which the old labeling calls full patch, and the box carries stock number AM619. The seller lists the condition as used, the normal grade for a vintage box; the seal is intact, so the twenty rounds are as packed at the factory.

This is a cartridge-collector item first. A full, sealed Winchester .30 Army box is the kind of thing that completes a shelf of old Winchester cartons, and a Texas owner of a Krag-chambered rifle may want one as the period-correct companion to the gun. Treat it as a display piece and keep the seal closed, since the sealed box is the whole point of the listing. If you need Krag ammunition to shoot, buy current production and leave this one on the shelf.
