Benelli's Nova is a pump-action field shotgun, and this one is new in 12 gauge with a 26-inch barrel. It wears a matte black finish and a synthetic fixed stock with a 14.5-inch length of pull. Stock number is NGZ5243 and the UPC is 650350200034. The Nova is the plain working pump in the Benelli line, with nothing on it that needs babying.

A 26-inch pump in 12 gauge covers most of what a Gulf Coast shotgunner asks for, from bird fields to a slug load for deer. Texas lets you use any legal firearm for whitetails except rimfire, so with the right load this Nova can go into the North Zone general season, which runs November 7, 2026 to January 3, 2027 in Harris County and the rest of East Texas and the coast. The synthetic stock and matte finish shrug off marsh water and coastal humidity, and the shorter barrel swings fast in thick brush.
