The Beretta A400 Upland is a semi-automatic field shotgun, here in 12 gauge with a 28-inch vent-rib barrel and a removable choke. The receiver is engraved silver, the barrel is blued, and the stock is deluxe checkered wood with a 14.5-inch length of pull. It is chambered for both 2 3/4-inch and 3-inch shells. Stock number NGZ2189, UPC 082442894119. It is listed as used in our catalog, while the supplier describes it as new with a stock photo.

For a Texas bird hunter this is a walking gun: a semi-auto takes the sting out of a long day with 3-inch loads, and the 28-inch barrel swings well on quail and dove. The engraved receiver and checkered wood make it dressier than the synthetic field guns most people carry, without giving up the removable choke. With both shell lengths covered you can load light target rounds for practice and heavier shells for the field without changing anything on the gun.
