The Beretta 1301 Tactical C Mod 2 is a new 12 gauge semi-auto with an 18.5-inch barrel, a 3-inch chamber and a 7+1 capacity. It wears a black matte finish on a synthetic stock, an MLOK forend for lights and accessories, a ghost ring sight and a receiver that is ready for an optic.

This is a defensive shotgun built short enough to move through a hallway and set up for a red dot or a light without gunsmith work. For a Houston household it is the kind of long gun that stays by the bed, and with a 3-inch chamber and a 12 gauge bore it also qualifies as a legal firearm for the North Zone general deer season, which runs November 7, 2026 to January 3, 2027 in Harris County, should you want one gun for both jobs. The 7+1 capacity means fewer reloads than a standard field gun.
