Beretta's 688 Performance Sporting with B-Fast is a 12 gauge over-and-under built for clay targets: 30-inch vent-rib barrels with extended removable chokes and 3-inch chambers. The stock is black laminate with an adjustable comb and heel, a right-hand palm swell and a 14.75-inch length of pull; the metal is blued. Stock number NGZ5912, UPC 082442989648. Our catalog lists it as used while the supplier text says new with a stock photo.

This is a sporting clays and skeet gun for a Texas shooter who wants to fit the stock to their face rather than adapt to it: the B-Fast comb and heel adjust so the eye lines up with the rib every time. Thirty-inch barrels carry a smooth swing on long crossers, and the extended chokes change quickly between stations. The laminate stock stands up to the humidity swings of a Gulf Coast range season, and the palm swell settles the right hand on a long course.
