The Browning Baby is a steel-frame pocket pistol in .25 ACP, and this example, serial 310403, was produced in Belgium in 1965. It carries a 2-inch barrel, a manual thumb safety, a blued finish and checkered polymer grips. The bore is excellent. The finish shows moderate wear, with light pitting on the front left of the slide, and the seller rates the overall condition as good.

A pistol this small disappears in a pocket or a small bag, which is the whole point of the design. For a Texas buyer it suits a collector of Browning's Belgian production or someone who wants a tiny backup gun with a positive manual safety. The .25 ACP is a light cartridge, so regular practice at the range matters more than it does with larger guns. Purchase is straightforward in Texas: no permit, no registration, photo identification and Form 4473 at a licensed dealer, and a current License to Carry can replace the federal check at most dealers.
