Springfield Armory's 1911 DS Prodigy Comp is a compact double-stack 1911-style 9mm with a 4.25-inch barrel and an integral compensator, serial NMH82453. The slide is cut for an optic and carries a front night sight, the thumb safety is ambidextrous, the frame has an accessory rail, and the textured polymer grip module and matte black finish round it out. The trigger is single action only.

The bore is excellent and overall condition is very good, with light marks on the finish. It comes with a spare magazine, a soft carry bag and the box. A compensated double-stack with a night sight is set up for a Texas owner who shoots a lot and may carry; the manual thumb safety and single action trigger suit anyone trained on a 1911. Purchase runs through Form 4473 and NICS at a licensed dealer, or a current Texas License to Carry in place of the check at most dealers.
